Suspect Arrested in Connection to Deadly Shooting in Longs

A woman has been charged in connection to the deadly Longs shooting yesterday morning.  20-year-old Christina Bottoms of North Carolina faces charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. The incident occurred along sun Colony Boulevard around 1:30 in the morning. It’s believed bottoms shot the victim in the head following an argument. Local police said there is no longer a threat to the area following the arrest. Bottoms is currently being held in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Her bail has not been set.
