Mike Pence Officially Accepts Nomination for Vice President in Third Night of RNC

Yesterday marked the third night of the Republican National Convention and Vice President Mike Pence officially accepted his renomination. Along with making President Trump’s case for the next four years, Pence spent his time slamming opponent Joe Biden. The majority of his argument centered on the violence that has rocked the country in recent weeks. He referred to Biden as “nothing more than a Trojan horse for a radical left,” claiming we do not need to choose between supporting our “law enforcement and standing with African-American neighbors.” Pence also promised another term with them would bring “law and order on the streets of this country.” White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and Outgoing Presidential Counselor Kellyanne Conway also had their chance to speak. McEnany recounted a very personal phone call she shared with the president before undergoing a preventative double mastectomy and highlighted his empathy. Conway also referred to him as respectable and an advocate for women.
