Video of Crowded Boxing Match on CCU Campus Garners Attention Online

A video circulating online appears to show a boxing match taking place on the Coastal Carolina University campus. This comes a week after they reopened for in-person instruction. The video shows a group of people gathered to watch and was geotagged with the school’s location. No one appeared to be social distancing or wearing masks. While some students have shrugged the video off as typical teenager behavior, others are worried this may lead to the campus shutting down again. A university spokesperson said they are reviewing all the information they have, saying if “there is a policy violation, we will hold that student accountable.”
