Suspect Apprehended After Committing Double Homicide in Georgetown County

The suspect who committed a double homicide yesterday evening has been apprehended. Georgetown County authorities responded to the scene of the shooting around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Indian Hut Road and Highmarket Street. They found two deceased victims and a third who was injured. It’s believed the suspect shot them following a fight about a car crash. The suspect then ran from the scene but was quickly located in the woods. 23-year-old Tysheem Walters III now faces two counts of murder and one count attempted murder.
