American Airlines Announce Cease in Services to North, South Carolina Cities

American Airlines will drop flights to 15 cities across the nation, including North and South Carolina, starting in October.
Included on the list is Florence and Greenville. Airline officials blamed lack of demand and the financial toll the pandemic took on them as the reason behind the decision. After a federal requirement to serve those communities ends on October 7th, the flights will cease. The airline also hinted more cuts may be announced in the coming weeks.
