Myrtle Beach Speedway Violates Governor’s Orders During Final Race

It appears the Myrtle Beach Speedway violated one of Governor McMaster’s orders over the weekend. On Saturday the venue hosted their final race with fans in attendance. However, it’s believed the speedway did not apply for an event exception application to do so. This is a direct violation of the governor’s order issued earlier this month which prohibits “any congregation or gathering of people” in excess of 250 people, unless authorized. As of now, no legal action has been taken. However, the violation could result in up to 30 days in jail or up to a $100 fine.
