Police Investigate Georgetown Shooting That Left One Injured

Georgetown police are investigating after a shooting left one injured. Officers responded to the scene around 9:15 p.m. in the area of Gilbert Street and E Street. They discovered a man with a gunshot wound and transported him to a hospital. His exact condition has not been released. The crime scene is currently being processed and possible witnesses interviewed. Anyone with information is asked to call Georgetown police.
