Deadly, Destructive Hurricane Isaias Causes Millions to Lose Power

Isaias, which is now a post-tropical cyclone, has made its way to Canada but not before causing even more damage and destruction across the east coast. At least five people were killed during the storm. Two people died after a tornado hit a mobile home in North Carolina and at least twelve were hospitalized. In Maryland, a 60-year-old man died after a tree fell on top of his vehicle while he was driving. Another person was killed in Pennsylvania when their vehicle was overtaken by water and swept away. One more person was also killed in Delaware after a tree branch fell on them. More tornadoes were reported in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey and nearly three million people along the coast lost power. Major flooding and structure fires were also reported. Dozens more people have been displaced after their homes were damaged or destroyed. The National Hurricane Center confirmed the storm is likely to dissipate by tonight or tomorrow.
