Manhunt Underway Following Non-Fatal Shooting in Myrtle Beach

A manhunt is underway in Myrtle Beach after a person was shot inside their home. Around midnight officers responded to shots fired at the Baypointe Apartments in the area of Mr. Joe White Avenue and Nance Street. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated on scene. Sometime around 2:45 a.m., officers engaged in a vehicle pursuit in the area of Robert Grissom Parkway and Highway 501 with a car believed to be involved in the shooting. The driver eventually fled on foot and as of now, still has not been apprehended. Anyone that may have any information is urged to contact the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
