City of Conway to Discuss Mask Mandate Today

The Conway city council is set to vote today on an amendment to their emergency ordinance that requires masks to be worn in public. The meeting will start at 4 p.m. this afternoon and will be held on zoom. Currently, people only need to wear a mask while inside an “essential business,” but according to city leaders that label has caused confusion. One council member said the possible changes include an expansion that would include all businesses. The public is able to access the meeting on Conway’s website CityofConway.com.
