President Trump Assigns New Campaign Manager

Yesterday, with the 2020 election less than four months away, President Trump assigned a new campaign manager. Brad Parscale is now out and was almost immediately replaced by Bill Stepien. The president has been vocal about his disapproval of Parscale’s handling of his campaign, especially after the Tulsa rally when over 100,000 people were projected to attend. In reality, around 6,200 people actually showed up. The president has also expressed his dissatisfaction with recent polls released showing his numbers trailing behind his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden. Stepien has over a decade of experience in the area, serving as the National Director for John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign and the New Hampshire Political Director for President George W. Bush’s reelection effort in 2004. He was also campaign manager to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Most recently, he was serving on the Trump Campaign as the Deputy to Parscale.
