Gov. McMaster Wants Parents to Have Back-to-School Options

Governor McMaster addressed the state a little over an hour ago in regards to schools reopening this fall.  He asked all school districts finalize their reopening plans by this Friday that would include both the options to return in-person and online. He further encouraged all schools to allow parents to make the final determination of which option they would prefer for their child and family. Finally, he asked all schools consider postponing their return-to-school date to September 8th to allow for any necessary guidelines to be implemented. McMaster said, “it must be their choice, but we must have our schools available.”
