Former Florence County Sheriff Lieutenant Granted Bond

A former Florence County Sheriff Lieutenant was granted a $25,000 bond yesterday. 48-year-old Mark Fuleihan faces charges of obstruction of state or local law enforcement for allegedly accepting bribes and in return allowing people to continue to run illegal gambling operations. It’s believed he received as much as $1,500 a month. If convicted, he could receive up to 10 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000. He would also be permanently barred from being a public official. After appearing in court via video, he was granted the bond.
