Man Confirmed to Have Committed Suicide After Found Dead From Hanging

California police have confirmed Robert Fuller’s death was indeed a suicide. It was initially believed 24-year-old Fuller may have been the victim of a hate crime after he was found hanging from a tree in a park in a Los Angeles suburb on June 10th. This was during the beginning of the “Black Lives Matter” protests and the fact that his death was ruled a suicide so quickly from local authorities caused outrage and skepticism from not only protesters, but fuller’s family as well. A more thorough investigation was demanded and met. The LA County Police Department have now concluded it was a suicide based off several key pieces of evidence. This includes finding a card registered to Fuller which was used to purchase a rope back in May. It was also determined Fuller had a history of mental illness and was even hospitalized in November for his depression and suicidal thoughts. Nearby surveillance footage captured also eliminated any suspected ideas of foul play.
