South Carolina COVID-19 Cases Continue to Dramatically Climb

South Carolina, particularly in Greenville, Charleston, and Horry counties, remain to be COVID-19 hot spots. Cases of COVID-19 continue to be linked to out-of-state trips taken to Myrtle Beach. In Pennsylvania, anyone who recently traveled to the area has been asked to quarantine for two weeks. New Jersey and West Virginia have also confirmed numerous cases originating from Myrtle Beach. Researchers at Harvard are now suggesting with the rate of infection in South Carolina, almost 40% of the state’s counties should be re-instating stay-at-home orders to help control the spread again.
