Face Masks Now Required on Pee Dee Public Transportation

Pee Dee Regional Transit Authority is now requiring the use of face masks while on public transportation. PDRTA officials made the announcement yesterday morning, saying the safety and health of passengers and employees is their top priority. Drivers may provide masks, but customers are encouraged to bring their own. This can include bandanas, medical masks, cloth masks, scarves, and gaiters as long as it covers a person’s face and nose. This comes as DHEC reported the 4th of July saw an increase in COVID-19 cases by 1,463 and eight more confirmed deaths in South Carolina.
