Two DOJ Prosecutors to Testify Against Attorney General Today
Two prosecutors in the Justice Department will testify today against Attorney General William Barr. The first set to speak out will be Aaron Zelinsky. He acted as a deputy to former special counsel Robert Mueller and prosecutor on the Roger Stone case. He intends to discuss how Barr’s longtime friendship to President Trump, and other major political factors, heavily influenced Barr’s actions. This allegedly included putting pressure on those involved in the trial in effort to distort the outcome of Stone’s sentencing. Furthermore, John Elias, who is a career department employee and a DOJ whistle blower, will also testify that some of Barr’s investigations were also politically and personally motivated. It’s believed numerous investigations into cannabis suppliers were carried out because of Barr’s personal aversion to marijuana and the industry.
