Florida Could Become Next Epicenter of Coronavirus Outbreak
Florida has the makings to become the next epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S., according to a new projection model. Florida is among 21 states to see an alarming increase in cases, but it is among 10 states to see record-breaking COVID-19 numbers seven days in a row. The other states who are also now experiencing these worrisome record high averages are Alabama, Arizona, California, Nevada, North and South Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas. Nationwide, over 2.1 million Americans have tested positive with almost 117,000 deaths. President Trump said in an interview yesterday that the virus is “dying out” and his claims may be supported by the fact that health experts including Dr. Deborah Birx and Dr. Anthony Fauci have been noticeably absent from the public in recent days. However, some believe this is because they are more open to telling the truth which is “that the pandemic is still very, very active in the united states and that we’re not getting back to normal.”
