South Carolina Will Remain Open Despite Increase in Coronavirus Cases
Yesterday, South Carolina saw its second-worst single-day increase of coronavirus cases. Statewide, there has been 15,759 reported cases and 575 deaths. Despite these numbers, Governor McMaster said he “has no intention” of closing any more businesses in effort to slow the spread again. However, he acknowledges this is a very serious situation. McMaster, along with doctors and health experts, are imploring residents wear face masks any and every time they are out in public. They also ask other health guidelines be adhered to.
