Remains Found Confirmed to be Those of Missing Idaho Children
The remains found on the property of Chad Daybell have been identified as the two missing Idaho children. 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and her brother 7-year-old Joshua Valllow hadn’t been seen since September but were not reported missing until late November after relatives could not get in contact with them. In that time, their mother, 46-year-old Lori Vallow, married 51-year-old Daybell who’s wife suspiciously died just a few weeks prior. Vallow also had a similar disturbing history that included her now deceased brother killing her previous husband during a fight. Furthermore, the two were believed to have been part of a doomsday cult. Vallow was arrested in February and charged with numerous felony counts, including desertion, non-support of children, and contempt of court. A search warrant later led to the discovery of the remains on Daybell’s property. He now faces charges of two felony counts of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence. Both of their bails have been set at one million dollars.
