The South Carolina Primary is Today!

As we mentioned earlier, the South Carolina state primary is today! Polls opened at 7 AM and will close at 7 PM. Horry County officials have already reported receiving 6,000 absentee ballots which may attribute to some delays in counting votes. Voting in person is still very much a possibility. Numerous safety precautions have been put into place to try to keep people safe. This includes workers using face masks, shields and gloves. Hand sanitizer, wipes, and disinfectant will also be made widely available. Furthermore, voters will be required to use a Q-tip instead of their fingers on the voting machines.
