Grand Strand Prepares for Influx of Visitors This Memorial Day Weekend
Horry County is extra prepared to keep people safe this Memorial Day weekend. The Horry County Emergency Management director has assured they can meet the demand for crowds. This includes reopening more attractions so people won’t be as confined to the same few areas. ‘Myrtle Waves’ is one of those attractions reopening. They were allowed to do so Monday, however they decided to wait until this Saturday as a safety precaution in preparation for this weekend. Increased communication with law enforcement has also become a priority, especially after last weekend’s events.
