New Footage of Ahmaud Arbery Released
Several new pieces of footage have been released in connection to the Ahmaud Arbery case. The first is body footage from 2017. It’s reported an officer spotted Arbery’s vehicle parked in a known area for criminal activity. He questioned Arbery and checked his body for weapons. It’s not until a second officer arrived that Arbery’s composure broke. The second officer escalated the situation by attempting to tase Arbery, despite his compliance. However, the taser does not work. Arbery’s family attorney confirmed he was never arrested or charged. The other new piece of video evidence shows Arbery was chased for four minutes by 64-year-old Gregory McMichael and his son 34-year-old Travis, and their neighbor William Bryan who filmed the entire incident. The McMichaels are charged with felony murder and many have called for Bryan’s arrest, however he remains a person of interest in the investigation.
