South, North Carolina Continue With Gradual Reopenings

Both North and South Carolina can expect more business reopenings by tomorrow. Already in Horry County, police are allowing groups of eight people or less to gather on beaches. In Columbia, they are discussing plans to reopen hair salons and barber shops soon. In North Carolina, Governor Roy Cooper has announced restrictions will be scaled back starting tomorrow in phases. The first phase includes reopening certain businesses with guidelines and allowing larger groups of people to gather in public.
