‘Work or Home’ Order Expires Today Statewide
South Carolina’s ‘work or home’ order will officially be lifted today. It will allow for restaurants to reopen their outdoor dining on a voluntary basis. Those who choose to do so will still face restrictions that include frequent sanitization of tables and chairs and a limited amount of customers. A few days earlier, hotels, short-term rentals, state parks and public beaches were also allowed to reopen. The Myrtle Beach State Park reported they hit their maximum capacity their first weekend back. For the time being, dine-in service, spectator sports, hair salons, theaters, concerts, schools and more remain closed.
