Short-Term Rentals Allowed to Operate With Restrictions Starting Today

The Myrtle Beach City Council approved for short-term rentals operations to start back up today. However, there remains to be restrictions. Any hotels, motels, campgrounds and other short-term rentals will be allowed to honor previously booked reservations but cannot accept any new ones until after May 15th. Additionally, these places must take extra precautions when it comes to reopening. This includes allowing the use of an elevator to only one person or party at a time and the continued suspension of bellman and valet services.
