COVID-19 Spikes Predicted to Hit Several South Carolina Counties
The number of COVID-19 cases in South Carolina has risen above 6,000 with 244 deaths now. A study conducted by a private technology company based in New York called Dataminr has predicted Horry County is on the verge of becoming a hot spot for the virus. The company also detected possible spikes in 21 other metropolitan or rural county communities across eight states. Charleston County and Greenville County are also predicted to experience spikes sometime soon.
