Hillary Clinton Endorses Joe Biden

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has officially endorsed Joe Biden for president.
During the 2020 candidate’s virtual town hall yesterday, the former first lady and secretary of state announced her support. Clinton said “I’m thrilled to be part of your campaign, to not only endorse you, but to help highlight a lot of the issues that are at stake in this presidential election.” The key endorsement comes just one day after Nancy Pelosi pledged her support as well.  Speaking of yesterday’s town hall, Biden’s campaign had announced Monday that he would focus on how covid-19 is impacting women. This lead many to believe he would address the allegations of sexual assault leveled at him by former senate staffer Tara Reade. But, the Biden campaign didn’t address it. Reade accuses Biden of touching her inappropriately in 1993 but, Biden’s campaign denies any wrongdoing.
