Air Force Thunderbirds, Navy Blue Angels Fly Over the Northeast
An incredible sight could be seen in New York yesterday as the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds flew over the city. In honor of the first-responders and essential workers who are continuing to perform their duties during the coronavirus outbreak, residents in the northeast were treated to a joint flyover by the air force and the navy. The team also flew over Newark and Trenton, New Jersey as well as Philadelphia. Residents were encouraged to watch from their yards and porches and to avoid public gatherings. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel John Caldwell said “We hope to give Americans a touching display of american resolve that honors those serving on the frontlines”.
