Governor McMaster Declares Fourth State of Emergency
DHEC has reported 5,613 cases of COVID-19 and 177 deaths in South Carolina. Governor Henry McMaster has declared a fourth state of emergency as a result. It will be in place for 15 more days and allow the state to continue to take the measures needed in order to combat the virus. McMaster said of the decision, “While we are making progress, we must remain vigilant with expanding prevention and testing efforts.”
