WHO Warns Former COVID-19 Patients Are Not Immune
The World Health Organization is warning they have no concrete evidence that people who contract COVID-19 are immune from getting it again. In light of this, they are stressing governments across the globe remain under lock down orders. They also ask countries reject the idea of “immunity passports”. As unrest grows, world leaders are looking for ways to resume their economies and return life back to normal. This includes allowing the use of “immunity passports” where people who previously contracted the virus would be free to travel under the assumption they are now immune. This disappointing news comes as the number of cases in the U.S. are near one million people, with deaths reaching over 55,000. worldwide, there has been almost 3 million cases reported. Dr. Anthony Fauci believes testing in the U.S. should double over the next few weeks, however President Trump has said he believes the response we’re seeing right now has been “great”.
