Over 500 Families Fed in Horry County Meal Distribution

A meal distribution program that took place yesterday reportedly fed over 500 families. Due to food shortages and unemployment rates, a lot of families heavily rely on the school meal program to feed their kids. However, they were forced to temporarily shut down. So United Way of Horry County and Impact Ministries stepped up and led the meal distribution where they reported hundreds of cars were wrapped around the Myrtle Beach Convention Center at one point. They also said they plan to do similar meal distributions over the next couple weeks, which should come as a relief to many.
