Georgetown County Schools Cancel Lunch Program for Today

Georgetown County schools were forced to cancel lunch distribution today due to the weather. This is the second time they’ve had to cancel their daily free meal program due to severe weather. Last week’s tornadoes forced them to cancel the first time. District Director of Communications, Ray White, said the program is expected to resume as scheduled tomorrow, with all GCSD employees reporting to work, permitting good weather conditions.
