Now’s Your Chance to Name a Color

If you’ve ever thought you’d be good at naming colors…you’re in luck! There’s over 16 million colors in the red-green-blue color spectrum, which is what we use on the internet and there’s a new project that’s crowdsourcing names for all of them. If you go to colornames.org, you can pick which ones to name, or they’ll assign you random hues. As long as the title is “descriptive and non-offensive,” it becomes official.
