Joe Biden Endorsed by Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama

Former Vice President Joe Biden is projected to win the Wisconsin primary. This comes after weeks long controversy surrounding that particular primary. Despite efforts led by the governor and other democratic leaders, republicans pushed to hold the election despite the country entering the height of the pandemic. They also fought to make it more difficult to vote from home, forcing a majority of residents to risk their health safety to go to polling places. It’s reported some voters waited hours in long lines to cast their ballots. Biden said he’s grateful for Wisconsinites support but that “it should never have come to that.” On the heels of Biden’s newly announced victory, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and former President Obama have endorsed Biden for president. Sanders made his announcement via livestream saying, “We need you in the White House.” He then pledged to join task forces with Biden on several policy matters and work to defeat President Trump.
