Hospitals Stack Bodies on Each Other as Pandemic Peaks

As the U.S. coronavirus death toll nears 24,000 and we reach the supposed peak of the pandemic, hospitals have become overwhelmed. Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit was particularly blunt about sharing they have run out of room to store the deceased. They released photos of covered bodies piled on top of each other inside refrigerated rooms, temporary holding units erected in parking lots and more. Early reports have also described a possible COVID-19 contraction may have been passed through a dead body somewhere in Thailand. The World Health Organization has said this could be possible but there is no evidence to support the claim. The number of confirmed cases in the U.S. has reached 591,000. Some major cities like New York and San Francisco are showing signs of flattening the curve but some governors won’t relax restrictions in their states just yet. They want to avoid a likely second flare up which is a trend that’s been seen in other countries over the last few weeks.
