80 Million to Receive Stimulus Checks in Coming Weeks

The Treasury has announced around 80 million Americans will receive their stimulus checks over the next two weeks. The first round of stimulus payments were already delivered this week but it’s unclear yet exactly how many received their direct deposits. The IRS also confirmed the majority of Americans will receive the financial aid by April 17th at the latest. You can check the status of your payment through a new online tracking tool called “Get My Payment”. The Treasury has also created several new online tools to assist people with low incomes file their taxes or make it easier for anyone to upload your direct banking information in order to receive your check sooner. The IRS has warned those who will not receive immediate financial relief include people who haven’t yet filed their tax returns or authorized a direct deposit.
