Bernie Sanders Suspends 2020 Presidential Campaign

Breaking news today as Bernie Sanders announced the end to his 2020 presidential campaign. The Vermont senator was the only progressive left in the running after Elizabeth Warren dropped out. His departure has reportedly been a sudden, hard blow for their party who always remained hopeful. Despite his popularity with younger generations, raising millions of dollars, and his early success in the campaign trail, Sanders could not gain the traction needed after he lost numerous primaries to opponent Joe Biden. Sanders’ decision has now effectively paved the way for the former vice president to declare the democratic nomination as he remains the only candidate left in the race. It’s unclear at this time whether or not Sanders will endorse Biden.
