Happy National Twinkie Day!

Today is National Twinkie Day! Here’s some history behind the delicious snack. A baker in Chicago came up with them on April 6th in 1930. They were filled with banana cream until bananas had to be rationed during world war two. It forced them to switch to vanilla, and they never went back. According to hostess, the shelf life of one is 45 days!
