2020 Election Goes Virtual

Those still competing in the 2020 election are taking their campaigns completely virtual. President Donald Trump has suspended his rallies for the time being which were expected to be attended by thousands. Former Vice President Joe Biden is also changing his strategy by doing all media appearances from a home studio and even created a new digital ad. Senator Bernie Sanders, who still refuses to give up the race, recently hosted a livestream. Regardless of political affiliation, all candidates have agreed they’re prepared to campaign virtually for the next several weeks. It’s believed in order to keep polling places safe for the public, it would cost billions of dollars. This is why many states have decided to push their primaries back until June. Wisconsin, however, remains steadfast in their decision to hold theirs this coming Tuesday and have no plans for maintaining the public’s safety. It has left many voters upset, having to choose between their health and their constitutional right.
