Mother of “Baby Boy Horry” Released on Bond

The mother of “Baby Boy Horry” has been released on bond. Jennifer Sahr was arrested several weeks ago and charged with homicide by child abuse after leaving her newborn in the middle of the woods to die 12 years ago. “Baby Boy Horry” was a story that heavily impacted the community and news of Sahr’s arrest brought much relief. Her bond was set at $75,000 after she wasn’t deemed to be a flight risk. Sahr still faces up to 20 years in prison.
