ESPN Will Start Airing Sports Movies

ESPN has found a way to fill the sports gap…and they’re using Disney movies! Due to nearly every major sporting event being postponed, the network will begin airing a selection of Disney sports films as part of their Friday night programming. First up at bat tonight is “The Rookie”, starring Dennis Quaid. Other favorites are “Glory Road”, “Miracle”, “Secretariat” and more.
