Total Coronavirus Cases in South Carolina Rises to 424
The number of coronavirus cases in South Carolina has risen yet again, but now the numbers appear to be doubling as over 80 new cases were confirmed. That brings the statewide total to 424 cases. There are now a total number of 20 cases in Horry County. Along with extending the deadline to return to all K-12 schools through the month of April, Governor McMaster is now also asking anyone who plans on traveling to the state for two days or more to self-quarantine for two weeks prior to. There is a bright side to all this, though. Despite the growing number of cases and the increased restrictive measures, for the first time in a few days no new deaths were reported.
