FBI Shoot, Kill Man Plotting Possible Terror Attack on Hospital
A man who was under investigation by the FBI for possible terrorism has been shot and killed. The unnamed suspect from Kansas City, Missouri was under surveillance for months by the FBI after he was flagged as a white supremacist and made multiple threats. The suspect was believed to be organizing a terrorist plot that may have involved a hospital that was particularly overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients. During his attempted arrest, FBI stormed his home and opened fire, killing the suspect. It’s unclear at this time why the FBI felt it necessary to open fire during what was initially considered to be a “controlled operation”. Bridget Patton, an FBI spokeswoman, said, “The FBI takes any shooting incident seriously…It will be investigated by the FBI’s inspection division. The review process is thorough and objective, and is conducted as expeditiously as possible.”
