Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Reaches 60 in South Carolina

The number of coronavirus cases in South Carolina has risen to 60. Thirteen of these cases have been found across eight new counties. DHEC would like to again stress the importance of staying home if you are exhibiting symptoms and in general limiting attendance at public gatherings, all while continuing to maintain proper hygiene. Cough and sneeze into your elbow, and of course wash your hands frequently and thoroughly. If you’re worried about maintaining hygiene, especially due to the hand sanitizer shortage, we have good news for you: A North Myrtle Beach pharmacy is making their own hand sanitizer. Typically, pharmacies are not allowed to do this. However, the FDA has temporarily lifted this restriction. The sanitizer is $10 and will be available for delivery.
