More Covid-19 Cases Are Confirmed in South Carolina
Yesterday the South Carolina department of health and environmental control announced 14 additional positive cases of covid-19 in the state. That brings the total of cases to 47 with 1 additional in Horry county. On Monday DHEC announced the state’s first death tied to the virus. That was an elderly man who was a resident of Lexington Medical Center Extended Care Skilled Nursing Facility who had ‘underlying health issues’ prior to testing positive. Because of those issues, an exact cause of death is still unknown at this time.
