‘SAT’ and ‘ACT’ Exams Have Been Postponed
The spread of the coronavirus has also forced the rescheduling or postponement of dates for college admissions tests. The groups that administer both the ACT and SAT tests announced that they will be postponing their spring exams. The ACT was scheduled for April 4th but will now be rescheduled for June 13th and the May 2nd SAT date has been canceled. The exams are taken by high school juniors who are planning to apply to colleges the next fall. This new decision could mean some students cannot take the tests multiple times to try and get higher scores. Experts say the class of 2021 will be the most affected class. the covid-19 outbreak could lead schools to scrap test requirements.
