Harvey Weinstein Hospitalized for Second Time

Convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein was hospitalized for chest pains again last night. This came just hours after Judge James Burke sentenced Weinstein to 20 years for criminal sexual act and three years for rape. Upon his release, he will also be subjected to five years of supervision and he must register as a sex offender. Judge Burke said of his decision, that “this is a first conviction, but it is not a first offense.” As his accusers wept, Weinstein reportedly sat expressionless handcuffed to a wheelchair. A few days ago he sustained a possible concussion after a fall. This along with his back and eye issues required him to use the wheelchair during the hearing. Over 1,000 court documents were unsealed just prior to the hearing. One revealed Weinstein said “Jennifer Aniston should be killed” after The National Inquirer wanted to publish a story that he had assaulted her. A representative for Aniston has said those allegations are false. Weinstein turns 68 this Saturday.
