Governor Confirms At Least Two Cases of Coronavirus in South Carolina
Two cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed by the CDC in South Carolina. The announcement was made by Governor Henry McMaster yesterday afternoon. He also confirmed an additional five “presumptive” cases throughout the state that are still awaiting official CDC confirmation. We don’t know much about the patients, except that one is older and currently remains in self-isolation at home in Camden. They were confirmed to have contracted the virus by means of another confirmed patient. In light of all this, local schools are closely monitoring the outbreak and already assessing plans in case of a major outbreak.
