Local Colleges Stress Caution When Travelling This Spring Break
Spring break is almost upon us and many are worried about the risks of traveling during the coronavirus outbreak.
The CDC has issued a level three travel warning in regards to the outbreak. CCU and other local colleges are closely monitoring the outbreak. They encourage students who plan on traveling to avoid places where a high number of cases have been identified. They’ve even suggested students not travel all together. Myrtle Beach airport, which is expecting about 8,000 passengers a day this season, is urging people to take extra precaution and heed the CDC’s spread prevention advice such as washing your hands often and thoroughly and not touching your face.
